Drones can be extremely effective and useful in emergency situations and natural disasters such as hurricanes, forest fires, floods, ect. Traditional aircraft such as helicopters and planes are expensive to operate, as well as being a limited resource and often get tied up in emergency situations. A drone can be deployed quickly, in nearly any location and be utilized to find missing people and deliver essential supplies to people in need.  

2024 was a different kind of year. Perhaps the most notable disaster was the floods in North Carolina caused by Helene, that destroyed essential infrastructure and brought civilization to its knees. Drones were used in great success by helping find people stranded from the flooding and even helped deliver supplies. This is an example of Americans helping other Americans. Ordinary people helping other people. This is what we aim to do with FlyView's S.A.R program. This is our goal. 

All though any one can buy a drone and fly it, there is a lot of know how that goes into operating one effectively and safely in an emergency. There are lots of laws and regulations that go into flying a drone in different areas of Louisiana and even the United States. For example, classified and restricted air space requires authorization to fly in. If you don't have a waiver to fly in classified air space or authorization from the authority in command of the restricted air space, you may end your day on the wrong side of the bars at the local detention facility. FlyView operates professionally with all the licensing and know how to respond to an emergency effectively and safely. 

FlyView is dedicated to becoming a force for good in the community. FlyView has all the equipment and training necessary to respond to emergencies and disasters far and wide. Our only limitation at this point is funding. When you purchase our S.A.R merch, some of the money goes towards the cost of the item and the rest goes to an account that will help fund our S.A.R efforts. The funds raised by our S.A.R merch will go towards things like gas, supplies, food, ect. for our personnel when we respond to disasters and emergencies.
