FlyView is happy to announce that we will be performing deer recovery operations for the 2025 hunting season. Of course we have to kick it off right our first year, so we're doing $100 deer recoveries. Laws and Rules apply!!!
The state of Louisiana does not allow for drones to be flown over any WMA. FlyView will not respond to any WMA to recover a deer. The state of Louisiana does not allow a wounded deer to be recovered by a drone. If FlyView locates your deer and it's still alive, we will inspect the wound and if it is determined that the deer will expire soon, we will hover the drone far enough away as not to jump the deer. Once the deer has expired, we will give you the location of the deer. The state of Louisiana requires anyone hunting on private property to have written permission from the owner of the property in their possession. This also means that if your deer runs to another property, you are legally allowed to recover the deer, but you need the landowner's permission. FlyView will not be involved in the criminal trespass onto private property. So long as the property is clearly marked in accordance with Louisiana law, of course.
FlyView utilizes an enterprise drone with a thermal imaging camera for deer recovery. The drone can be equipped with a spotlight. The camera has a 52x hybrid zoom that allows us to identify your deer.
To be eligible. You must be within 50 miles of Jena, Louisiana. All taxes apply. If I don't find your deer, you'll be refunded the full amount. All payments will be taken electronically before I respond to your location. If you insist on paying cash, there will need to be a payment up front before I deploy my drone. In the event that you insist on paying in cash, and payment is not received, you will not be eligible for a FlyView deer recovery for all future seasons. If you are further than 50 miles from Jena, Louisiana, you are still eligible for $100 deer recoveries up to 75 miles. All distances past 50 miles will be subject to milage charge. The charge will be the cost of fuel to and from location. I will still refund the cost of the deer recovery if the deer is not found, but the cost of fuel will not be refunded. If the recovery is further than 75 miles, I will charge an hourly rate of 50$ for travel time and milage for fuel. If the deer is not recovered, you will be refunded the cost of the recovery, but the hourly rate and milage will not be refunded. By purchasing a deer recovery, you agree to these terms.
If you are sure that you've shot a deer, call as soon as possible. The chances of locating your deer are better if we get the drone in the air while it's still warm. While it's not impossible to find a deer after its cooled down, it will make it a bit more difficult. If you are not sure whether you've shot a deer, it may be good to look around for any little bit of sign before you call, I can't find a deer that's not there.
1. Treat all firearms as if they are loaded. 2. Never point a firearm at anything you do not intend to shoot. 3. keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot. 4. Be sure of your target and what's beyond it.
If you point your gun at me, even on accident, I will leave the location and you will not be refunded.
This requires you to be eligible. Private property, within a 50 mile radius of Jena, Louisiana.
